Tyrone Clary is a respected artist who is a longstanding member of a government-sponsored Society of Artist in South Carolina. Throughout several states, Clary has become known as an artist of great ability. He was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1966. He started out using his ability to draw designing clothes. In 1990, he attended Atlanta Institute for Fashion and Art. His passion for fashion designing birthed his flourishing career as an artist. In the spring of 1993, he made acquaintance with the famous oil painter William Tolliver. Clary met with Tolliver in his Atlanta studio and discussed the business of visual art. Clary admires artists whose signature style is bold and vibrant like his own abstract genre. Pablo Picasso's cubism and Vincent Van Gogh's impressionism rank highest on his list of admirers. SISTER FRANCINE'S BABY was inspired by the character GP in Oasis' novel, PUSH COMES TO SHOVE. Out of the paintings that Clary has been commissioned to paint, SISTER FRANCINE'S BABY was the most difficult to create. "Instead of working with live subjects and inanimated objects, I was only given a character's emotions and a story to create this work," says Clary. His paintings have attracted the attention of another noteworthy author and writing instructor who also plans to recognize Clary's painting in literature. When Clary isn't breathing life into a canvas, his time is spent finding new ways to market and promote his artwork. Clary is the owner of Parousia—an Atlanta-based art gallery, which is scheduled for its grand opening mid 2009. Clary is currently working on his next masterpiece.
